Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos

The Narwal Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is among the most effective combos that I've ever tested. Its base station features an enormous dustbin and water tank, and its dual rubber brushes are less prone to hair tangles than single bristles.
Its mopping performance is excellent and its AI mapping excels in eliminating obstacles. It is also able to stop the cleaning process and then resume from where it was when it stopped.
1. Roomba Combo j9+
The Roomba Combo j9+ is one of the most advanced 2-in-1 robot vacuum s and mop cleaners available today. It features a sleek, self-emptying Clean Base that can handle up to two mopping cycles at a time and is even designed to resemble a tiny table. It's also the only robotic mop we've tested with an onboard water reservoir to automatically wash and refill the pads for cleaning after each vacuuming and mopping cycle.
The mopping arm sits unobtrusively on top of the unit until it detects hard floors, then lowers to begin scrubbing. It moves slowly and cautiously over surfaces to ensure that it doesn't accidentally splash wet mud or spills across carpeted areas. It is capable of staying out of the path of furniture, cords, and other obstacles.
It's more intelligent than other robot vacs, too, thanks to the iRobot Home app, which lets you customize the settings of your cleaner prioritize rooms based on dirtiness set schedules and cleaning times, and more. The app provides you with detailed maps of your house and seasonal recommendations, as well as customized cleaning routines, as well as a variety of smart home integrations that are easy to use.
This combination robot vac and mop is based on iRobot's Imprint Smart Mapping technology to recognize objects such as counters, sofas and tables. It can be controlled by Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri which makes it easy to clean your home.
The Roomba J9+, unlike other vacuum and mopping robotics, creates the map of your home 7 times faster than previous models. It also labels each area in accordance with the floor type to ensure that it will remember where you want it to vacuum or mop. It also features the Turbo Mode that boosts suction for difficult spots. With iRobot’s Dirt Detective it can learn about your habits of cleaning and adjust the cleaning priorities and settings for the most filthy areas of your home.
2. Yeedi M12 Pro+
With its top-quality features and user-friendly app controls The Yeedi M12 Pro+ is a strong competitor in the field of automated mop and vacuum robots. Its suction power is powerful and cutting-edge mopping technology make it the ideal cleaning partner for smart homes. Its intelligent automation and affordable cost make it a great option for families on a budget.
To begin using the M12, simply download and open the Yeedi app and follow the on-screen directions to connect to your Wi-Fi network. After connecting the app will prompt you to create a unique naming for your new robot. The M12 only supports 2.4GHz networks.
The M12 offers a variety of cleaning options, including mopping and vacuuming. Its innovative design allows it to map a room in just six minutes and then adjust its cleaning path accordingly. Its advanced mopping features include two spinning pads, as well as electronically controlled water, as well as a "True Edge" Adaptive Edge Mopping System that ensures a thorough cleaning of all edges.
Navigation-wise, the M12 utilizes LiDAR and IR to avoid obstacles. Its sensors do a good job of detecting larger items like furniture and HVAC vents. However, they can struggle with smaller objects, such as cables and rags that are small, which can cause the robot to miss areas.
The M12's built-in inclinometer allows it to sense and navigate through stairs. It also has the ability to automatically return to its OMNI Station to wash and dry the mop brushes, and refill its water tank. If its batteries are low, the OMNI station can even automatically empty the dust bin and clean itself.
3. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra is the cutting-edge in robot cleaning, packing an incredible amount of features into an elegant package. It comes with a large mopping capacity and a camera to assist it in avoiding obstacles. It also comes with a powerful vacuum that can sense when it is sweeping over carpets. It also comes with advanced technology and voice assistant capabilities.
It is a great vacuum cleaner and mop, and can complete our 1,500-square-foot test area in just 101 minutes before running out of battery and returning to its dock. The mop is washed between use, which reduces maintenance costs and helps keep the pads clean. A dock sensor is able to detect when a mop's pad becomes dirty and initiates washing cycles.
Like its predecessors as well, like its predecessors, the S8 MaxV Ultra features an intelligent system that can recognize household objects including pet waste and shoes using the camera and LIDAR combo. It performed well in our obstacle avoidance evaluation, with only one hiccup in my testing (it got stuck unwinding a ball of wool that was caught in its brush arm).
The S8 MaxV Ultra boasts a new suction power of 10,000pa. power, more than twice its predecessor. This makes it a fantastic choice for homes that have lots of carpeting and varying types of flooring. The vacuum can be set to automatically increase suction when it moves over crumbs or dust.
Like previous models there are docking stations that can be placed in different rooms to in the process of cleaning and mopping. It can also be connected to your home plumbing with a specialized dock that drains and refills the water tank automatically after you've finished.
4. Dreametech X40 Ultra
The Dreame X40 Ultra is the most recent model of the top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum from Dreame and offers several features that the company's less expensive models do not have. It is a powerful suction system and can mop floors with ease. It has many advanced features, including an auto-extending mop heads and self-detangling brush rollers. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station and dust collector filter. The mop pads are automatically drained and cleaned with hot water. After each cleaning session, the water tank will be automatically emptied.
It has advanced options to tailor the cleaning schedule. For example you can set a specific start and stop time for each cycle, or whether it should vacuum carpets first before mopping. It can also be told to clean areas which are particularly dirty and then increase the suction power around cat litter boxes and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra is programmable to perform specific tasks, such as cleaning a bathroom toilet or kitchen sink. It can also be set to automatically lift its front side brush when it spots wet areas and clean up debris from baseboards and corners.
The X40 Ultra has a simple user interface that offers many features. It is easy to use and set up. It is quieter than most corded vacuums. The only sounds are the occasional low hum from its motor, and the occasional moments of sucking when cleaning. Its navigation system, which uses cameras, 3D structured lights, multiple lasers and a 3D-structured light to locate and avoid obstacles, is impressive. This makes the X40 Ultra receive one of the highest scores in our tests for obstruction avoidance.
5. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is an extremely powerful vacuum and mop combination that was designed to be easy for users. The base station, which is gunmetal-colored, is self-emptying and refills its own tank with clean water, automatically empties the dust bin into a smaller one it washes and dry its own mop pad during cleaning sessions. It also has an advanced feature set that allows it to switch between hard and rugs effectively removing pet hair and dirt from carpets, and clear raised room thresholds.
The S1 Pro's navigation and maps are outstanding, and the dToF LiDAR system in the internal unit allows it to keep a low profile while still providing top-quality object avoidance. It can drive close to walls without crashing and avoiding steps, and it also automatically raises its mop when driving over rugs and carpets with a short pile. It struggled a bit when it came across longer-pile carpets, and some long, thick mess of dried-on debris.
The S1 Pro is ready to start right from the moment you purchase it, and it requires only just a few minutes of mapping to get to know your home. Once it's done, the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or merged as needed. You can also set virtual boundaries as well as no-go zones or no-mop zones in case there's something you don't want the robot to get into.
The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up spills from hard floors, thanks to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to both mop and vacuum makes it an excellent option for homes with two types of flooring. However, its reliance on Eufy cleaning solutions (which are included in the box) could make it less versatile than other robots which allow you to use your own cleaning solutions.
